The per-participant fee is the one to watch
Lessonspace’s session cap of 6 participants is generous, but going over it costs extra per participant per hour — worth checking if you ever run small-group sessions with a parent or a second student sitting in. LumenBoard’s Tutor Pro plan includes up to 6 participants in the base price, with no per-participant add-on.
As with any hour-metered platform, Lessonspace can be cheaper in a genuinely light month. The comparison flips once you’re teaching a consistent weekly roster, which is when a flat price stops being a maybe and starts being the cheaper option every month.
